I almost didn't buy the Dress. My cart sat untouched for weeks while I told myself I didn't have an occasion worthy of it. I was drawn to the romantic ruffles and the soft, feminine silhouette. My number one fear with a two-piece set was showing too much skin. I wanted something elegant, not revealing. The dress is designed so the top and skirt meet perfectly. There's just a whisper of skin, maybe an inch. It's incredibly tasteful. The top is long enough to tuck slightly into the skirt, but you can also wear it just grazing. The high-waisted skirt is very flattering. I wore this to a family wedding, and I felt completely appropriate and covered. If you're worried about the midriff being too revealing, set that fear aside. It's designed for elegance, not exposure.
